We had our second Consortium Meeting
Danmar Computers hosted the 2nd consortium meeting last week in Rzeszow, Poland. As you may know, the BOOST4Shoes project was developed to help Footwear SME's improve their online cross-border sales. This is a 2 year project and we have a consortium of partners working together to develop an Online Sales Manager (OSM) course that will provide a checklist of Actions these SME's can follow to do so.
During this meeting, we discussed in detail the research we have done so far, including:
- O1A1 Rationalisation Phase: Practices of European e-Commerce retailers from the footwear industry (State of Play)
- O1A2 Needs Analysis Report (UK)
- O1A3 Training Methodology and Online Sales Strategy Definition: Structure, content, methodology, delivery approach and all relevant aspects of the BOOST4SHOES vocational training system
Using this research, in particular, the Online Sales Strategy, we developed the e-Commerce lifecycle which comprises of 6 main areas:
- Overall Service
- Promotion (Marketing)
We then developed Actions under each of these modules and it is these that will make up the Online Sales Manager (OSM) course. Our next big task is to develop the content which will make up the check-list.
We are very excited about this project and we have a great team that works well together.
